Week 1: Notes/Exercises
For homework week 1, please submit solutions to any 4 of the exercises in class week 2.

Week 2: Notes/Exercises and a Clarification about exercises 1d and 5
For homework week 2, please submit solutions to any 3 of the exercises in class week 3. Also, please note that you are not expected to read everything on the further reading lists. Please just read what you want/need to learn more about.

Week 3: Notes/Exercises and a Clarification about exercise 2
For homework week 3, please submit solutions to any 3 of the exercises in class week 4. I believe these questions are in general easier than last week's.

Week 4: Notes/Exercises
Many of the week 4 questions are rather tough. For homework week 4, please submit EITHER

solutions to any 3 of the week 4 exercises OR
solutions to any 3 previously unattempted, proof-based exercises from weeks 2/3 or this document on modular arithmetic AND earnest attempts at week 4 exercises 1 and 3 (using the result of 2)

in class week 5. Do not despair if you are unable to solve them completely; partial solutions allow me to give you helpful feedback.

Week 5: Notes/Exercises
For homework week 5, please submit solutions to any 3 of the exercises in class week 6.

Week 6: Notes/Exercises
For homework week 6, please submit solutions to at least 1 new exercise in class week 7.

Week 7: Notes/Exercises
For homework week 7, please submit solutions to at least 2 exercises in class week 8.

Week 8: Notes/Exercises
For homework week 8, please submit solutions to exercise 7 and one other exercise of your choice in class week 9.

Week 9: Notes/Exercises
For homework week 9, please submit solutions to at least 1 new exercise and a brief paragraph reflecting on your experience in Math 79SI in class week 10.
